Our Home Comfort Energy Savings Agreement is a customized program that addresses the problems we see most often and is designed to:
  • Reduce the possibility of an air conditioning or heating breakdown. 
  • Reduce your utility and repair costs. 
  • Provide preferential emergency service if the need ever arises. 
  • Provide a 15% discount on parts and labor. 
  • Maintain or enhance your current level of comfort. 
  • Provide a 1 year warranty on repairs. 
We know that our satisfied customers have been and will continue to be the secret to our success. We also believe that our Energy Savings Agreement program is the best way for us to keep our customers satisfied. 

What Is A Precision Tune-Up? 

Just keep in mind that not all Service Maintenance Agreements are equal. Don’t be fooled into investing in what we like to call a flashlight inspection. 

We actually perform a tune-up on your system. Our Precision tune-up is recommended by all heating & air conditioning manufacturers. This service will maintain the efficiency of your equipment and extend its life. We, at Central York Corporation, believe only in providing products and services that we would feel comfortable purchasing and using ourselves.  

We have seen firsthand the savings from having annual maintenance on our heating and air conditioning systems and that is why we want to provide these services to all our customers. 

Our Precision Tune-Up service is very detailed. In order to complete all the services and the 27 point Tune-Up Completion Certificate it normally takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours per system to complete. We want to give our technicians enough time to adequately service and inspect your system for solutions that could reduce your energy cost. 

Not All Service Maintenance Agreements Are Equal.

Precision Tune-Up Procedures

Commercial Air Conditioning — Adjusting Room Temperature in Richmond, VA

Batteries – new batteries will be installed in thermostats & carbon monoxide detectors on last ESA visit 

Tune-Up Completion Certificate – 27 point Completion Certificate will be completed and presented to you to insure accuracy 

Condenser Coil – will be cleaned 

Evaporator Coil – will be cleaned, where accessible 

Blower Wheel – will be inspected and cleaned as necessary 

Refrigerant Charge – checked by superheat / subcooling

Air Filters – one inch poly filters will be replaces per ESA 

Belts and Pulleys – will be inspected and adjusted 

Lubrication – motors and bearings will be lubricated 

Thermostat – will be checked for proper operation 

Controls and Safeties – will be inspected and tested 

Motors – will be inspected and cleaned as necessary 

Capacitors – will be checked for proper operation 

Condensate Drain – will be checked and Kon-Trol tablets added as needed 

Crankcase Heater – will be checked for proper operation 

Relays and Contactors – will be inspected 

Unit Wiring – will be inspected and loose connections tightened 

Unit Disconnect – will be inspected 

Reversing Value – will be operationally checked 

Auxiliary Heat Strips – will be inspected & tested 

Heat Exchanger – will be inspected 

Burners – will be inspected and cleaned as necessary 

Thermocouple - will be replaced one time in heating season 

Fan Switch – will be checked and adjusted as needed 

Pilot – will be cleaned and adjusted as necessary 

Gas Line – will be checked from the furnace shut-off value to burners 

Flue Pipe – will be inspected 

Ductwork – will be checked for air leaks & proper insulation 

Emergency Float Switch – checked for proper operation 

UV Protection – applied to outdoor unit to extend cabinet life
